Muscat swings to AR. Rahman beats
-----
It all started at 6 pm, (Me, Furkhan) with a walk to the OC centre Taxi stand..
The lights went out at 7:50 pm. The crowd shouted, screamed and every one of us stood up in our respective chairs, eager in anticipation. There was no sign of Rahman, not even his voice could be heard. But the 15k+ crowd was in its element. Rahman then surfaced, standing calm on a lift. He entered the stage singing “Jaage Hain Der Tak Hamein Kuch Der Sone Do Thodi Si Raat Aur Hai Subaah Toh Hone Do” We could barely hear the first few lines despite the speakers.

The concert was kicked off with him greeting ‘WOW Muscat!’ and then began’Khalbali’. The instruments and the speakers were top class, no one could have wished for better. When A.R.Rahman sang ’shola shola balkhaye…’ in Khalbali with his trademark tone, I was witnessing magic. To add to the frenzy among the audience,
3) Soon after a Tamil number, singers Neeti Mohan and Shweta Pandit added verve to the setting with the rendering of Ringa Ringa from Slumdog Millionaire. The pace had to slow down, we needed a break from all the jumping and shouting. So, a string of slow paced songs followed.

Hariharan’s rendering of Nahin Samne in his honey-glazed vocals left the audience asking for more as he returned with Yeh Haseen Vaadiyan from Roja.
The much- sought after Rasheed Ali’s famous number Kabhi Kabhi Aditi from Jaane tu Jaane Na garnered as much response from the crowd as Javed Ali’s soothing Jashn-e-Bahar from Jodha Akbar.

The highlight of the evening was Rahman’s Khwaja Mere Khwaja from Jodhaa Akbar. Wearing an Omani mussar, playing harmonium, his eyes shut to the world, he let the track absorb him as well as the audience. The effect was the same when he sang Maula Mere Maula from Delhi–6.

Suzanne D’Mello with her amazing vocals was awesome with her Aye Bachoo from Ghajini and Mangta Hai Kya from Rangeela. Sanjeev Thomas
on guitar and Asad Khan on sitar stunned with their act, as Stephen Devasia, the keyboard player keyed them on.

Rahman began the session with “Mustafa Mustafa” when hot air lamps were launched from the stage. Blaaze joined Rahman for Humma Humma, which was probably the best performance of the evening. We knew the end was near when the fireworks grabbed the attention for ’Jai Ho’ and the end was on a high note with ’Vande Maataram’.

Well, it’s been Four days since I got back from Dubai and I’ve spent the last two days documenting the daily visits of Dubai.
To sum up, my entire visit of Dubai was fun. It was the first time that I went there, but I’ve learned how to get myself around it (hopefully).
Anyway, here’s the listing of the trip to Dubai. Dubai Travels: # Day 1 – Muscat to Dubai Burj Dubai,The Dubai Mall,Bur Dubai,Boating...
# Day 2 – Metro, Mall of Emirates...
# Day 3 – Al Ain Wild Life Park & Resorts...

This is my first trip to Dubai.Mr. Ahmed & His Family came to ma home to pickup. We started around 7 am from Oman.
Later Mr. Rao & Sharma joined vth us.
We got struck much time at Hatta (Oman-UAE)Border. Must say that Syed, and naz were in a much better position coming by Buraimi Border.
Having arrived in UAE safely, met with PJ nearby Dragon Mart.
Dragon Mart
Ahmed & Rao booked the double bedroom in AL Bustan Towers, Sharjah.
Then we had our lunch in PJ's home.
After a good deal of eating and some TV watching (in PJ’s home), we finally left the place a little past 3.30pm and got a drop right back to Burj dubai!
Burj Dubai
After taking snapshots at burj dubai.. we moved to The Dubai Mall.
Dubai Mall,Dubai Aquarium and Under Water Zoo
The Mall's Dubai Aquarium and Discovery Centre, developed and operated by Oceanis Australia Group, officially earned the Guinness World Record for the world's "Largest Acrylic Panel" (32.88 m wide × 8.3 m high × 750 mm thick and weighing 245,614 kg). The acrylic viewing panel is larger than Japan's Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium (22.5 m wide × 8.2 m high and 600 mm thick). Its 750 mm thick acrylic viewing panel can withstand pressure of 10 million litres of water used in the aquarium, but its transparency gives visitors clear views of over 33,000 marine animals on display.

We spent more than 5 hours in aquarium. However we did struggle to capture the Pics inside Boat.
Next deal is to find the good South Indian Hotel for Dinner. We didn't have any plans...
We finally left the place and moved to Bur Dubai....Bundle of indian restaurants there...We chosen Saravana Bhavan..

However, we did struggle out of our beds and get ready.

Do I really have to?
Do I really have to? what happens if I don't? Too many people will get hurt? And if I go on... then will I be the one to end up getting hurt......
Standing at the crossroads again... do not really know which way to go....

True Friends!!!
Friends of Women:
A wife was not at home for a whole night. So she tells her husband, the very next morning, that she stayed at her (girl) friend’s apartment overnight. So the husband calls 10 of her best (girl) friends and none of them confirm that she was with them.
Friends of Men:
A husband was not at home for a whole night. So he tells his wife the very next morning, that he stayed at his friend’s apartment over night. So the wife calls 10 of his best friends and 5 of them confirm that he stayed at their apartments that night and another 5 are claiming that he is still with them!!
